Online registration - IMPORTANT

ALL athletes that have been named to the Zone 6 track & field team (including alternates) must complete ONLINE REGISTRATION by THURSDAY JUNE 17, 2010.

Please follow these instructions. If you are not clear on how to complete this online requirement, please contact me directly @ xc@macewan.ca

1. Go to http://www.albertagames.com/ website
2. Click on the Alberta Summer Games link
3. Click on Participant Registration
4. Fill in all the fields on the on-line form
5. Click on "submit". A confirmation page will appear with all information just entered. If changes need to be made, the "Back" button can be selected to return to the registration form for editing. If the information is correct, the participant can click "submit" for final submission
6. Your information will now become part of the sports "Inactive Registration" and you will recieve an emil response indicating you have completed the first part of the Games registration.
7. After you have completed this, I, as zone coach will enter the site and confirm your events and information.

Again, this MUST be completed by Thursday JUNE 17. If you have not completed this online registration, you may be removed from the team.

SUMMER GAME DATES

Transportation details will be posted when they are available. At this point, we know the bus will leave on the 19th of July and return on the 22nd.

Because we have been delayed in team selection, we must move quickly to register for the games.

Please bring:
- a cheque for Athletics Alberta for $75 (team fees)
-your health care number
-A completed registration form (I will email this to you)

A Waiver of Liability and Release Form will need to be completed and signed by both the athlete and parent. I will have the waivers at Hawrelak Park for you.

TEAM FEES
The $75 helps offset the cost of the games. It includes:
- Transportation to the Summer Games via coach bus
-Competition singlet
-Meals
-Accommodation
In past years they have had team shirts and backpacks as well...

ZONE 6 TRACK & FIELD TEAM NAMED

Thank you to everyone who submitted applications for the Zone 6 Team. The team selection took longer than expected due to a few rainouts of key meets. The final cuts were quite difficult to make, as we have some really great talent out there. A few of you are doing an event that is new or perhaps not your strong suit, but as you can see - there are a lot of events to cover for a 10-person team. We thank you for your willingness to step up to the plate and take on a challenge :-)
